Born in Santa Monica, Kim is a fourth generation Californian and was a LA native until recently • She graduated Cum Laude with a BA in English Literature from USC • At 22, after three months traveling around Europe with a backpack and Eurorail pass, Kim moved to Washington DC where she worked on Capitol Hill for a senator and then as a legislative assistant in the private sector • Five years later, tired of the weather and jaded by the politics, Kim returned to California • Since then her employment has included the following (in no particular order): waitress, art gallery assistant, advertising account executive, personal assistant, English tutor, C-level executive assistant, and writer • In January 2021 Kim moved with her pitbull Blue and cat Bella to the rural outskirts of Arroyo Grande on the central coast of CA, to live and work with horses full time.
